The members and Instructors of the Irish Aikido Association greet with shock and sadness the news that Alan Ruddock passed away on the 2nd of April 2012.
Alan was one of the Technical Advisors to the Irish Aikido Association and his contribution to the development of Aikido in Ireland brought to us a unique history and a personal understanding of his time as a student of Morihei Ueshiba (the founder of Aikido). We extend our deepest gratitude for all he shared with us.
